John 1:14 14 And the Word became flesh and dwelt among us, and we beheld His glory, the glory as of the only begotten of the Father, full of grace and truth
Phillip said, “Show us the Father. Jesus basically said,
“You’re looking at Him”.
The Bible says that the fullness of Deity dwells in Jesus.
Yet he is self aware. That’s because he is The Word.
The Word was “with God” and the The Word “was God”.
The Son said, “I love the Father”.
When the Son says “I love the Father” he is saying I love the person who lives in of me.
When the Father says, “I love the Son” he is saying I love the person I live in.
When we say it, we are saying we love Jesus, both.
The Word became flesh and dwelt among us. The person standing in front of Philip was the Word.
God is Spirit and he lives in the Son of God.
Mark 1:1 1 The beginning of the gospel of Jesus Christ, the Son of God.
That’s all we need to know really.
We know God because we came to know Jesus. If you love Jesus, you love the Father and the Son. And that is worshiping with spirit and truth.
John 3:16 16 “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.
